For many magicians who are new, remembering the script they figured out ahead of time (that goes along with the effect) can be difficult. The Society of American Magicians meets monthly in local “assemblies”and can provide both opportunities to perform and instruction by seasoned performers. Each month they provide some great illusions and magic tricks for the beginner that even professional magicians perform. Each month they have a show that gives the beginning magician a chance to perform their new tricks. This is a great opportunity for the budding magician to get more practice, especially with street magic that can be practiced practically anywhere.
